The inn
The Historic Champlin House is located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, at the south shore of Keuka Lake in the Village of Hammondsport. You’ll walk to the beach, restaurants, gift shops, antique shops, yoga, pubs and the Village Square. Keuka Lake and the historic Depot Park are down the block at the foot of Shethar Street. Here you can rent a boat, jet ski, paddle board, kayak, take a lake excursion or just relax at the lakeside. You are in small town America.
You’ll be staying in the fully restored 1863 home of Charles D. Champlin and family. We offer main floor and second floor suites. These rooms have use of the large living room with piano and seasonal access to the 300 square foot Grand Porch.
Main House, First Floor Suite: No staircase. Queen bed, combination tub/shower, hair dryer and walk-in closet. In-room Streaming TV; USB charging station. Mini-fridge, microwave and 24 hour coffee station.
Main House, Second Floor Suite: Queen bed, modern bathroom with large walk-in shower, hair dryer and walk-in closet. In-room Streaming TV; USB charging station. Mini-fridge, microwave and 24 hour coffee station.

Carriage House Loft: You’ll be staying in a modern, separate, large studio space (580 square feet) with a vaulted ceiling. There’s an apartment-size refrigerator, water cooler, microwave and coffee station in the kitchenette area. Individually controlled air conditioning and heat. Queen bed, bathroom with walk-in shower. In-room Streaming TV; USB charging stations; hair dryer. A great space for couples or families. You will be the only guests in this section of the Inn.
Loft Common Areas and Amenities:
Outdoor space with Picnic Area.
Children are permitted in the Loft - 2 max.
Roll-away beds available for children.
